I first met Terry Chupp when he started fishing the BASS tournaments in the late 80’s. I knew him as a competitor, but mostly as the guy that handed out Bibles to all of the anglers at registration. Terry’s love for fishing brought him to the tournaments, but Terry’s love of Jesus Christ and people in general was the main focus of his life. In my lifetime, I have never met anyone who is as passionate and bold about sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Terry lives by Matthew 28:19 KJV, “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.” I have spent countless days with Terry, talking at churches and just catching a quick bite to eat, and never was there a time when he didn’t ask the waitress or someone he came into contact with, “If you died today, would you go to heaven?” That question inevitably led to sharing the gospel and very often to the individual praying to accepting Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Terry’s love of people won’t let him quit sharing.
